The Point at Rockridge’s Independent Living offers the active senior a carefree lifestyle. We provide a variety of enriching activities that make life interesting and fulfilling. Our residents choose to participate according to their interests, preferences, routines and abilities.
Whether it is morning exercise, a sing-along at the piano or weekly high tea, there are many opportunities to join the fun. We strive to make your life easier by taking care of the little things for residents.
For a lot of caregivers, taking care of loved ones is a full-time job. The idea of going out of town for a weekend or an unexpected short-term change in care needs, like doctor's orders after being discharged from the hospital, are serious stressors for caregivers who already feel worn thin. If you're a caregiver who needs some extra help for a few weeks or days, respite care might be the perfect fit.
Our Respite Care program gives caregivers an opportunity to take a temporary break for any and all reasons while offering Respite Care guests access to the amenities and care that we offer on a daily basis. It is important that caregivers are able to rest too, so that they can give their all to those they take care of.Our Respite Care provides the peace of mind of on-site care staff, prepared meals and enrichment opportunities, without the long-term commitment.
What is Respite Care?
Respite care is a temporary stay at a senior living community, often suggested for seniors who are recovering from a hospital visit, fall, surgery or other health circumstance, but is also available for caregiver vacations, senior living trial periods or any other reason.
